“Neuromusic News” is a fortnightly newsletter aimed at disseminating the most up-to-date and innovative research results the field of the neurosciences and music.
Each issue presents four articles published in peer-reviewed journals, with abstracts in English and in Italian, since the Mariani Foundation for Child neurology is both an international reference organisation in the “neuromusic” field, and an entity established first and foremost in Italy.
The selection of papers is conducted by the Editorial Board, whose members are Luisa Lopez, neurophysiologist and scientific coordinator of the Neuromusic activities at the Mariani Foundation, Maria Majno, vice president of the Mariani Foundation and director of its Neuromusic area, and Barbara Bernardini, science journalist. Editorial production of the newsletter is entrusted to Renata Brizzi.
Researchers interested in having their works featured in “Neuromusic News” can submit their request by contacting: neuromusic@fondazione-mariani.org. Papers have to meet two main criteria: being indexed in PubMed and published no later than three months before the release date of the next issue of Neuromusic News. In all cases, the decision on inclusion in the newsletter rests with the Editorial Board.
