DIRECTIONS

Airport to City Center
To reach Helsinki city center from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, please follow these steps:

1. Train: Head to the train station located in the corridor between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
2. Tickets: Purchase a ticket from the ticket machines or via the HSL mobile app. Remember to choose Zone ABC.
3. Train Line: Board the P or I train towards Helsinki Central Railway Station (Helsingin päärautatieasema).
4. Travel Time: The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
5. Arrival: at Helsinki Central Railway Station, where you’ll find yourself at the the city’s transportation hub.

University of Helsinki Main Building
Please enter the building using the entrance on Aleksanterinkatu 5 (see marker on the map).
You will find the registration desks next to the cloak rooms when entering the building.

Music Center (Musiikkitalo)
Please use the entrance on Kansalaistori (see marker on the map).
The auditorium of our program is called Black Box and it is immediately to the left down the stairs. Our conference assistants will be guiding you in.

Scandic Marina Congress Center to Music Center (Musiikkitalo)
To get from the Congress Center to Musiikkitalo, you can use public transport.

1. Tickets: Purchase a ticket for zone AB via the HSL mobile app.
2. Tram: Take tram 4 to Munkkiniemi from tram stop Kauppiaankatu to Lasipalatsi. The journey takes around 10 minutes.

Scandic Marina Congress Center to Bar Loose
To get from the Congress Center to Bar Loose, you can use public transport.

1. Tickets: Purchase a ticket for zone AB via the HSL mobile app.
2. Tram: Take tram 4 to Munkkiniemi from tram stop Kauppiaankatu to Ylioppilastalo. The journey takes around 6 minutes.
